Quarter 1 – Includes Nadal and Del Potro. Other threats include big serving Raonic and Nishkori but he might struggle with the conditions. Hewitt and Tomic provide other threats to Nadal. Dimitrov and Monfils will struggle against this talent. Del Potro has a really good chance to take out Nadal here coming off a very convincing win last week here he had a bit in reserve.

Quarter 2 – Murray needs to show his fitness he has not had the best of build ups so even at an event he does well in is there for taking. Kohlschreiber has bit about him and can serve well but can struggle over 5 sets. Isner another big server will find it though in the heat too especially since he played a full week coming into this.

Tsonga got some good court time here and has gone close here before he has looked in decent nick too.  Verdasco is interesting he has twice reached the final 8 here and 2014 started well enough for him. Last but not least Federer who I feel will find this too difficult to win out. He is a great of game but there is no doubting that time is finally catching up on one of the best the game has seen. Cilic is showing signs of a comeback too and could be a dark horse for the quarter

Quarter 3 – Berdych is one of the main men in the very interesting part of the draw. Ferrer is the top seed in this section but his change of coach looks to be a big mistake. Tommy Haas is also in this side of the draw, ampoule he is a lovely player who came back from serious set-backs to make it back to the top of his game, 5 sets in this heat will test him however.

Quarter 4 – Hard for anyone but Djokovic to come out of this one. The main challenge will come from other side of his quarter from either Wawrinka or Gasquet who can both play top class tennis on their day. Preference for Wawrinka on this one. Would be very shocked if that ends up any other way this quarter. Wawrinka played a classic against Djokovic in OZ before so he knows he can push the bookies favourite.

Keeping up his form so far in 2014 should see Del Potro go far.

Overall Draw: Less in depth here but Serena William dominates the market as a strong odds on favourite.  This is the only slam she has not conquered in the past two years so it may be worth going with her main rival  Azarenka here who looked in decent order in her close fought loss to Serena recently. The price difference between the two is too large. Even in the US Open she showed how much she can push Serena and that was in front of Williams home crowd.

Their is one other price that takes my eye as much too big and that is Jankovic, for me she is playing as well as players half her price in the market and she has a decent draw to take advatage of.
