3.50 Brighton – Brighton Challenge Cup
The Race Of The Day is based on the most valuable race from Today’s Horse Racing Meetings and we deliver Horse Racing Tips from each blogger to see if we can come to an agreement on a selection. The statistics for today’s Race Of The Day can be seen below, apart from Overall, Month and Day all data supplied is based on either flat or jumps racing depending on the daily race, all odds are based on SP.
We have a new selection process for our bloggers, instead of relying on someone to add the selections we now have an automatic process in which when a blogger has a selection he/she can now add it to the post themselves which means you get the selections as they are ready, this means that the post is now put up without any selections in order for it to be available for the bloggers to add them.
Also because there is not always someone around to edit the post with the selections we will now leave this up to you to work out, it is simple enough, when the stated closing time has passed then you can decided whether there is a bet or not, each runner will have the number of selections next to it and for each pick it is clear then that is a 1pt stake, so a runner with 3 picks and then two runners with 1 pick apiece would be a 2pt win, if there is not outright pick then it is deemed a No Bet. We advised all bets of £10 per tip clear, so a 2pt win would be a £20 win.

Ramsey Deadman – Laser Blazer (1 Picks)
Alan King has had some success with his flat runners this year and is his Laser Blazer which gets my vote this afternoon – You have to go a way back in his form to find a course win here, but he has one, he also run a good second here around 14 months ago – Since then he has scored a win on the flat at Saliabury. More recently a facile win over hurdles last week and he should be spot on here
Zipster – Royal Alcor (1 Picks)
There has been some decent priced winners of this race in the past including 100/1 shot Boot ‘n Toot back in 2005 and the runner which I like here today is the outsider of the field at 40/1! The majority of his wins have come on the AW but opened his turf account with a win back in June at Yarmouth, has won off 79 on the AW so his 74 mark here today is interesting and Probert rode him to success in that AW race. Trip is ideal with all bar one of his wins coming between 1m4f-1m6f, break looks ideal and he is 7-31 at LH tracks, for me off this mark he looks too big at 40/1 if he turns up today.
