Dubai Tour 2015 Cycling Preview
The Dubai Tour has been known as a fairly flat race but this year they have managed to throw a little spanner in the works. We will see 4 stages with the 3rd stage likely to make it tricky to decide the winner with an uphill finish up a steep 200m to the finish. Last year the time trial played a key part in deciding the race this year there is no time trial so expect chaos on stage 3 but could a sprinter from the other three days hang on?
With the 3 other days suiting sprinters I believe they could well win as they won’t have long to hang in on stage 3 of the race. Valverde made comments off his Mallorca win that the focus would be on Lobato here so people backing him at 2/1 are taking a big risk.
I am pretty low on ideas for this I did think Swift at 33s might be value but I wasn’t able to get more than few cent on that so will just advise as one to look at.
Tour of Dubai 2015 Overall:
5pts Valverde not to win 1.48 pinnacle
.5pts John Degenkolb to win 8.24 pinnacle
.1pt Luka Mezgec to win 40/1 various
Its worth siding with hard finishing Battaglin here a rare chance at a World Tour race for his team. Pozzatto still has issues to resolve with Lampre so we can’t be sure of his showing here.
Tour of Dubai 2015 Matchbet:
