Putting together Football Accumulator can be tough going, picking out one or two is much easier than putting together 4 or 5 which is why as a group we have come together in an attempt to find the winning combination.
There are no rules on what the guys can pick, they could be Goals Galore Predictions from Championship Football, any bet, any league as long as the price is 1.50+
Each week the available bloggers will put up one selection each which we will then combine into one Football Accumulator Tip and see if the combination can produce a successful winning accumulator.
This accumulator is deemed complete at time of posting
Football Accumulator 21st-22nd December
Game 1 – Darylrogerson
Leeds v Barnsley (Sat, England, 15.00) – Match Result (Home Win)
Barnsley are rock bottom and struggling especially away from home with just 1 win and 1 draw on their travels from 10 games. Opposingly Leeds are in great form at Elland Road with only QPR and Burnley winning there this season and both doing so my only a one goal margin. Won 5 and drawn once in their last 6 home games and with Ross McCormack on fire I think they’ll be too good for Barnsley here.
Game 2 – Watto
Clyde Vs Albion Rovers (Sat, Scotland, 15.00) – Goals (BTTS)
Clyde have been scoring freely at home in last 5 games and have not failed to score at home in their last six but at the same time have conceded in their last eight at home and Albion Rovers come here having score in all of their last eight matches on the road but have not kept a clean sheet on their travels.
Game 3 – Gecko
Southampton v Tottenham (Sun, England, 13.30) – Match Result (Home Win)
Spurs are usually very good away from home but their current disarray leads me to back Saints, a team who have floundered recently after doing so well since the start of the season – they have however played some top sides recently and have garnered creditable draws in their last two matches. Spurs are struggling with injuries and with a temp manager and a likely switch to 442, they could struggle against a well organised home team and suffer yet another loss.
Game 4 – Zipster
Oldham Vs Colchester (Sat, England, 15.00) – Goals & Match Result (BTTS & Draw)
Everything about this game screams score-draw to me; four of Oldham’s last five at home have ended in 1-1 score-lines after 90 minutes whilst three of Colchester’s last four on road have ended in score-draws. The last two times that these two have met in Oldham have both finished 1-1 also so if form and history is anything to go by then a score-draw looks the most probable outcome.
Because the BTTS & Result selection and the number of bookmakers who offer the bet only four bookmakers give us odds on all four picks with Ladbrokes offering the best price of 33.69.
Good Luck if you are playing along with us this week.
