Gent Wevelgem 2015 Cycling Preview

Plenty racing this wekend with much of the attention elsewhere but the focus for most will be on Gent Wevelgem as it hosts a number of riders including a few with interesting on next Sunday in Flanders. Anyway keep it brief this is who I like for winning Gent Wevelgem. Looking at past winners they tend to be hard nailed sprinters. To move away from the sprinters chances its to be very wet and also windy race favourite Cavendish looks a very unlikely winner on that case.

I am going lean away from the talents of Kristoff and Degenkolb and go with a little bit of an outsider who might take to the conditions. All I can say is how bloody open and strong this race is lots of talent. I ended up with quiet a list of possible fancies. Bouhanni was just a touch shorter than I wanted at 22s but he is showing signs he could come good.

Trentin had been quoted at 18s in places which i would not take but the 40/1 on offer has to be taken. I have had lots small punts with stand out of those Boasson Hagen at 66/1 a price much too large.
