Giro Stage 10 Cycling Blog
Giro Stage 10 comes off the rest day after a weeks racing three men look the likely podium already but the winner is far from decided. The Giro Stage 10 is a nice easing in after the rest day with a sure fire sprint coming towards to the end of this stage. Interesting that two sprints have been included so near to the finish of interest to those chasing the red jersey in the Giro.
There are a few tricks to this finish including those Italian type cobbles that can make it a little tricky no major bends but a good train will be handy with the roundabouts. Viviani and Nizzollo may fight out for the intermediate points as important as any at the finish to those two. The 6/1 on Modolo doesn’t tempt while the Pelucchi price at 10/1 is just to damn tight.
I am giving Hofland another chance now he is showing some spark and the power output on cobbles should suit the Belkin rider. Mezgec is a top talent, speed, power and a great eye for a sprint but he has had a quiet period but like Hofland showing signs of a spark. Its a nice quiet drop back into things with more exciting stages ahead in the battle for pink.
