Giro Stage 13 Cycling Blog
Giro Stage 13 is most certainly an easy going day after the wet testing day of stage 12 that saw a few suffering bady, viagra 100mg and Aru had a bad day but managed to very much limit his losses. Stage 12 was a good win for Gilbert I did trade him as my favourite of those at head of market but not quiet as well as I might have liked. Mixed on betting front of course but on this sprint day lets see if anything interests us. At just 147km and pan flat giro stage 13 is as good as a rest day for the riders compared to some past days.
The finish is quick, diagnosis but throw in the late roundabout and bend and it makes a good sprint train all the more important unless you can ensure your on the right wheel inside the flamme rouge. Some rain is likely again and that always puts me off Griepel who is a bit of a pussy cat when it comes to the risk taking. If pushed I might have opted for Modolo of the heavily fancied riders. Instead I will take two at bigger prices in Mezgec and Hofland. Both have shown glimpses and are only interested in the final stage win with no battle for sprint points earlier in the day. Both riders are extremely talented but maybe letting themselves down a little so far this season.
At more than twice the price both Hofland and Mezgec had a bit more appeal for me. At those short prices of 6/4 or so I would be avoiding the Gorilla in Greipel.
