The selection is a daughter of Shirocco who is a half sister to smart triple bumper (including at Listed level)/Grade 2-placed 2m-2m 3f hurdle winner Copper Kay and Listed-placed bumper (debut) winner Which One Is Which, out of a bumper/Grade 2-placed 2m-2m 1f hurdle/useful 2m-2m 3f chase winner who was a half sister to bumper/Grade 2-placed dual 2m hurdle/smart 2m 1f-2m 5f chase (including at Listed level) winner Copper Bleu, bumper/2m 4f-2m 7f hurdle/3m chase winner Give Me A Copper and 2m 5f-3m hurdle/3m chase winner Cloudy Copper. This mare is trained by Olly Murphy and can hardly fail to take the eye on pedigree, a half sister to a pair of debut winners in this sphere and out of a useful jumper (successful in a bumper first time out) who was related to several decent performers. For all she’ll come into her own over obstacles at a later date, this daughter of Shirocco is very much bred to make an impact in this sphere, and her rookie handler has made a bright start to his training career (has had bumper winners); all in all, it would be rather disappointing if this mare couldn’t make a winning start here.
