“Correr, competir, eu levo isso no sangue, é parte de minha vida” “Racing, competing, I take it in blood, it is part of my life” Ayrton Senna
Motorsports is not just a sport, it’s a way of life. The speed, the danger, the twists and turns, the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat all make auto racing the sport of kings. But with the excitement comes the danger of death.
Racing is a dangerous sport. It’s entire history has been paved with those who paid the ultimate price in the never-ending quest for victory.
Since we’re halfway through 2014, I’m here to pay tribute to those we’ve lost this year courtesy of Motorsport Memorial.
