Jaydubs sprint picks 12 June .. Haydock and Nottingham

0

After a successful day yesterday at Beverley where Incomparable drifted nicely to give us a 9/1 winner and Iggy must be worth another look nto as it was very well supported late on but flopped.

Onto the 12th and there are a couple of races that interest me.

Haydock 8:10 – Oldjoesaid –  Dangers Bosun Breeze, Bapak Bangsawan

The ground is still described as soft here but i think it will dry with no further rain expected before the meet. However Bondi Beach Boy, Sleepy Blue Ocean, Dusty Storm, Triple Dream, Eland Ally, Lucky Dan and Little Eli may still want it faster with wins only on the firmer ground. Bispham Green I thought would go well last time but seems to have lost all ability while Ruby’s Day has only won an apprentice race and doesn’t appeal. Hazelrigg interests but has not won nor placed in 5 attempts after returning from a 100+ day break and National Service is unproven on turf. The booking of Jamie Spencer who travels across from Nottingham is interesting on Bapak Bangsawan as his 2 previous rides have yielded wins but both were on the AW and I think its a bit too short on the turf given it showed nothing on the soft is passed over despite being unlucky in a class 5 lto. That leaves us with just 3 Beau Mistral is 0 for 9 at haydock but still rates as a danger while the 2 old guard from Midgely are where i think the winner will come from. He is in form and both will like the ground. Oldjoesaid though has the more favourable draw and will take the beating here.

Nottingham 2.30 – Bilash – Danger Lucky Lodge

Bilash is the selection here. It looks a difficult race to work out but there seems to be a lot of AW horses here that perform well below expectations on the turf. Climaxfortackle will be well supported with its win lto and both 2nd and 3rd winning since but the softer conditions may just halt it with its run on soft 10 days prior to its win over course and distance seeing it finish a 10l 8th. Bilash however, does go on all types of ground and certainly will not be hindered by it having a little juice in it. All 9 of its wins or places have come off marks of between 63 and 70 so the 64 today with jack Duern’s 5lb claim is well within its ability. Lucky Lodge is a danger with the drop in ratings and 7lb claim but I fancy it will place rather than win and better over 5f.

The other 2 sprints look to have a few possible outcomes and are best left alone

Hi I am 42 and have been sports betting seriously for the last 4-5 years. My main areas are Rugby Union where I have played a decent level in both England and Wales and also Cricket where I did the same. I like my horses too but really limit myself to the sprints up to a mile in the summer and then the longer distances over fences in the winter with some AW action as well in the colder months.
