NFL Week 13 – A look back in gifs of the week

A look back at the week in the NFL, another classic no doubt and here are the gifs to prove it.

NFL Week 13 gifs

Vernon Davis decided that hurdling once wasn’t enough for him and did a bit of showing off when he could have simply ran into the end zone as per usual as seen below in the gifs. The 49ers proved too strong on the defensive side in a solid win that keeps them on track. Davis continues to be a favourite target but Crabtree returned this week and as he gets ride of the rust the threat from the 49ers becomes even more varied in their pass attack and that read option can provide a headache for sides.

The Browns were involved in a high scoring loss to the Jaguars. That has often been case for the team despite ranking well in yards allowed they do allow a lot of points indicating perhaps weak special teams, turnovers and poor red zone defense. With the amount of points Jaguars got it says it all really.  Meanwhile Gordon broke records galore with some fans unhappy he was allowed to do so last week, he secured another 200 yard receiving day with a touchdown with this huge play taken to the end zone. He now ranks second in receiving yards despite the fact he missed some of the season for issues he can hopefully put behind him.

I had quiet a chunk on the Broncos this week and topped up when they were backs against the wall early. Manning once again kept his side of bargain finding Decker 4 times in the end zone as his marker Cooper proved to be pretty damn useless at covering him. The Broncos defence stepped in after a slow start and they sealed the 7pt win. Moreno was a big part of the big night with a joint running game with Ball and this moment from him made me laugh as he made a big 1st down play he decided to celebrate like so in this the most funny gifs:

One hell of an impressive catch came from the Bears overtime loss to the Vikings. Jeffery had another big night beating his total yards in a game from earlier in the year with a massive night that included this seriously sick catch in the end zone that the Vikings just couldn’t believe he had caught. Its a real pity the Bears defense regressed so much as in Marshall and Jeffery they have a serious dual threat in those two that are unlikely to be in the post season.

The Bills went to Toronto to play its annual game their, they went ahead several times but somehow they failed to take advantage of playing a weak Falcons team and made Roddie White look like Julius Jones on the night. The Bills still had chances to put the game away. Two fumbles from their receivers in field goal range however shot them in the foot from putting away the game. The up side is Manuel looks good and the run game was seriously good but where did that good defense go this week after been tipped to help the Bills for the rest of the schedule. The Falcons with this win have now put themselves in for the number 2 pick in the draft as despite an improved show the Texans lost again and are the worse team in the NFL now

Update: Currently 17-14 to the Redskins after Eli Manning was picked off and his own defense failed to then pick off RG3 who put a terrible pass into the endzone at the Giants defense. NFL nights will be missed with little over 2 months of games left. Really looking forward to catching the Saints at the Seahawks tomorrow live on Eurosport or ESPN for those Stateside.
