NHL Picks Saturday 14th DecemberPlenty of games for Saturday over in the States to consider for the NHL Picks Saturday 14th December, these will be early hours of Sunday morning over here in the UK.

The Penguins and Canucks both won yesterday to bring in the double but the other game finished 2-2 which meant the overs bet failed.

Going to change things up a bit here and just go with my best bet of the day each day from now on.

NHL Picks Saturday 14th December

Carolina Hurricanes at Phoenix Coyotes

Sunday 15th December, 01:00 (GMT)

Bet: Game Result – DRAW at 4.20 (After 60 minutes) (William Hill)

I am expecting this match-up to be pretty close, the Coyotes are currently sitting 8th in the Western Conference and have won seven of their fourteen matches at home this season, their form in their last ten at home reads 4-4-2 and they have gone on to win three of their four draws in either overtime or on penalties and they picked up a good 6-3 win over the Islanders on Friday.

The Hurricanes are sitting in 8th place in the Eastern Conference and have recorded just six wins from their sixteen matches on the road with but they have won three of their last six although their road form reads 3-3-4 and they have lost their last two games in overtime.

The head-2-head record reads 3-3-1 so the visitors have only won once in 60 minutes from seven games but they have taken three of the games to overtime which means they have gone close here a few times.

I can see this going to overtime but I don’t think it will go as far as penalties, the Hurricanes have lost to overtime goals in both their last games on the road but the Coyotes have won three of the last four games which went past the 60 minute mark, looks a very close game on paper so I will be playing the Draw which William Hill have up at 4.20.

About Author

I have been in the betting game for getting on 10 years now, I was a late comer in the betting scene, never really showed much interest in the first 20 years of my life but then I came across a betting website and that all changed. I have learnt a vast amount over the last 5 years, I used to believe I could pick the winner in every race before I realised I could not and began selective betting which is the only way forward. I mainly stick with the horses but do occasionally stray off to bet on the footie or speedway. I am now 35 years old, born and bred in Ipswich and still here and forever a Tractorboy, work part time for a Cash & Carry and have a dog named Dave! That’s about it from me.
