Kyle Busch took the lead with eight laps to go and scored the victory in the Brickyard 400.
For Rowdy, this is the 33rd career victory, fourth of the season, fourth in a span of five races and third straight. Joey Logano finished runner-up. Kevin Harvick, after leading 75 laps, rounded out the podium in third.
In his final start at the Brickyard, Jeff Gordon finished a disappointing 42nd.
That’s all from Indianapolis. Next week, NASCAR makes its second stop at the tricky triangle Pocono Raceway.
