Sylvania 300


This week, information pills the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Loudon, visit this site New Hampshire for race #2 of the 2013 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup; the Sylvania 300 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a 1.058-mile (1.703 km) oval speedway located in Loudon, this web New Hampshire which has hosted NASCAR racing annually since the early 1990s, as well as an IndyCar weekend and the oldest motorcycle race in North America, the Loudon Classic. Nicknamed “The Magic Mile,” the speedway is often converted into a 1.6-mile (2.6 km) road course, which includes much of the oval.

The track was originally the site of Bryar Motorsports Park before being purchased and redeveloped by Bob Bahre. The track is currently one of eight major NASCAR tracks owned and operated by Speedway Motorsports.

Matt Kenseth comes into New Hampshire with the points lead and will be looking to keep it that way.

Jimmie Johnson broke a 4 race streak of terrible finishes with a 5th place finish at Chicagoland.

Jeff Gordon, who was added to the Chase just 2 days before the race last week, finished 6th last week and will be looking to continue his run at a 5th Sprint Cup Title.
