gghofman looks at the other classifications in this years Tour de France :
King of the Mountains Jersey:
T.Voeckler (7/2various) europcar riders appear to be the flavour for this with P.Rolland (8/1 bet365) also fancied in this but its an open jersey and those two strike me more as stage hunters than worried about the KOM jersey so bigger priced runners should interest. A lot of the GC Contenders covers in my blog are near the top of the market.
Kessiakoff (18/1 paddypower) has given this jersey a go before but I don’t think he will be strong enough in the climbs to do it. The two that interest me are Euskatel riders but more so Mikel Nieve (20/1 various) who is riding better than Anton this season and has the KOM in mind. If the race is raced hard then we may well see a GC contender do well in this and Nieve is a nice in between for this jersey.Sagan can stroll to victory if things fall right

A two horse race between Sagan and Cavendish per the markets. Peter Sagan (evens various) and Mark Cavendish (2.2 various) these guys will do well in different types of stages. A lot depends on how well Sagan does on the flat stages Cavendish wins and how well Sagan then does on the harder days and whether his team can dominate those days. Greipel (16/1 various) and Kristoff (50/1 various) are the only other viable contenders and being honest way Kristoff is riding this year he could well be a contender. My edge is into Peter Sagan who after stage 1 may drift a little for us to go and back.
Young Riders Jersey:
Tejay Van Garderen (2/1 888sport) , Nairo Quintana (2/1 bwin) and Thibaut Pinot (4/1 boylesports) are the main contenders in what is a strong young riders jersey. Andrew Talansky (7/1 paddypower) will find it difficult against this strong field. At the prices Pinot is a very attractive price to take it out at 4/1 .Can the Sky train be derailed
Movistar (5/2 various) with the trio of Valverde, Rui Costa and Quintana leading the line they look strong add to that the capable Amador and Castroviejo. Sky (7/2 888sport) Chris Froome and Richie Porte will lead the line for Sky at this years tour. They also have strong support in Kiriyenka Siutsou and Lopez, but the fact they avoid getting into breaks and lack a clear 3rd man puts me off backing them in the team table. Saxo Tinxoff (5/1 bwin) have of course the superb Contador. His supporting cast is strong this year with Hernandez, Kreuziger, Roche and Rogers to help him out, with bit more depth and less commitment than Sky I wouldn’t be put off betting them.
Garmin Sharp (15/2 betway) announced their team last but its strong, Danielson, Hesjedal and Van De Velde have plenty experience. Add into that the capable Dan Martin and Andrew Talansky and theirs plenty chances of a strong team showing. Radioshack (20/1 betvictor) while 20/1 stands out pretty high its hard to see them doing enough to earn it with Andy Schleck unlikely to perform however it should be bit lower than this price.
