Betfair World Snooker Championships 2013 – Crucible Theatre Sheffield 2013
The Betfair World Snooker Championships from Sheffield take place between 20th April and 6th May 2013
The event has taken place at the Crucible theatre Sheffield since 1977 and as such the Venue and the Sport have become synonymous.

The current Champion is Ronnie O’Sullivan, who, in 2012 won the title for the fourth time. He returns in 2013 to defend his title and maybe add another but still has a little way to go to match Steve Davis and Ray Reardon who both won the event six times and the overall championship winning leader Stephen Hendry who has seven!
Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan will be centre stage on the opening day as he attempts a fifth title and starts his first round match at 10am.
Four-time world Champion John Higgins plays at 2.30pm on Sunday April 21 Runner up two years ago Judd Trump starts at Tuesday afternoon April 23 and world number one Mark Selby plays on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
