BMW PGA Championship Golf Tips

BMW PGA Championship Golf Tips

The European Tour is into its proper swing of European event and this week is huge with the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth giving the UK a much needed event on the golf calendar.  The event has been here for many years so it gives us plenty course form to look at. The course is a par 72 playing at a touch over 7, approved 300 yards. The lay out of 18 presents an excellent test to end any round and could see a few hard luck stories.

This course rewards accurate hitters who will find plenty greens as a result. Course experience is helpful and the wind can kick up so someone who can cope with that should excel. It also provides a true test of putting skills and really stands out as a course Rory McIlroy never likes and so I will look to oppose him.

Fleetwood can go well this week

Anders Hansen 50/1 bet365 – A twice winner and went damn close last year again. Should have won in Singapore but let down late on and came up short but shows how close he is right no to adding a win.

Ross Fisher 45/1 bet365- Local man Fisher can find some form this week at the most suitable event. He is a winner on tour this year and also was solid last week so comes in with a bit of confidence.

Jamie Donaldson 35/1 bet365 – Another quality player from Britain. Had a 2nd at Doral and was good on debut in the Masters so now back at home can go strong. He has a best of 7th in 2011 its a course that should favour him.

Tommy Fleetwood 90/1 bet365- A talented golfer who has the talent to go far. His performance in the China Open most impressive. I had him backed last year when he won at Gleneagles. 12th last year gives him something to work off.

Chris Wood 66/1 ladbrokes – Solid wind player who put his name up their last week. He has very good form in England and his Open form shows he will like these conditions. Worth a small investment.

Gregory Bourdy 100/1 betvictor – Coming off a missed cut has really pushed his price out for this week. He copes well with the conditions expected and a weekend off will have been of benefit.

Richie Ramsey 80/1 bet365 – In good order of late with his long game rewarding him well. God play last week and a 9th last year make him exceptional value.
