Premier League Table >

27th Nov

Hull and Liverpool struggling with 3 losses on the bounce, Burnely perking up and Newcastle flying high currently…

Tips have been really profitable for the last two weeks which is pleasing, 5/6 and 7/10 all at good odds, has made the season total almost get back into profit!

WBA v Arsenal > Arsenal off the back of 2 league defeats whilst the Baggies have won just 1 of 6 at home this term – Arsenal should be able to relax and pick off WBA here and perhaps a 1-2 result is likely, not a strong bet just the better side should win basically

Burnley v Aston Villa > Burnley are enjoying a good week when they picked up two wins whilst Villa stopped their rot with a couple of merited draws after unluckily losing to Spurs – I think Villa will pick up well here and stop Burnley in their tracks and an away win looks the call

Liverpool v Stoke > the hosts sit in 12th, have little confidence and are struggling to get any results currently; Stoke meanwhile can win at City and lose home to Burnley – hard to call but Liverpool keep flattering to deceive and are really poor these days – they may well click and thrash someone 4-0 but hard to see and with Stoke likely to use tactics that worked well at City and Spurs then this could be a dull 0-0 surprisingly

Utd v Hull > Hull were unlucky last week when Spurs picked them off after they went down to 10 men, and they visit a confident and surging Utd who won well at Arsenal last week – no games are ever guaranteed but I think Utd will stroll this one 3-0 or so

QPR v Leicester > Leicester struggling for points let alone goals whilst QPR have improved a bit albeit at home only – a 1-0 home win looks the call here as neither are prolific so QPR win and under 2.5 for me

Swansea v Palace > Palace off the back of a great home win over Liverpool last week whilst Swansea have been ticking along ok – can see both scoring here in a 1-1 or maybe 2-1 home winbut not a strong call – perhaps BTTS is the best bet here

West Ham v Newcastle > this has a draw written all over it for me. Newcastle have flown up the table on the back of a string of good wins whilst BFS’s men are ticking over well still – both will want the win and think they can get it and it should be a decent game; hard to call between them though

Sunderland v Chelsea > Jose’s men should continue their inexorable march to the title here – Sunderland will be plucky and hard to break down probably but the class should tell again

Southampton v City > in-form Saints and their great home and defensive record test themselves here again a stuttering City side who will take a lot from their midweek success – doubt either team will sit back so there could be some goals in this – a 2-2 draw appeals

Spurs v Everton > hard to see Spurs winning as they have struggled every week after their Euro Thursday night games (all at home subsequently too) – Everton have improved well and will be all over Spurs as they know they will nervous having lost 4 at home. I will be laying Spurs and although a 1-1 draw looks likely to me, I wouldn’t advise against backing Everton as they will probably score against this poor Spurs defence (Lloris aside) – Spurs will probably go with Kane and Soldado and keep the ineffective Lamela too although Lennon may get a start this week – more trouble for Spurs though as they just aren’t getting anything together this season

Advised Bets >

Double Chance Everton/Draw @ awaiting odds (laying Spurs at 2.3)

Swansea v Palace Over 2.5 @ 2.1

West Ham v Newcastle Draw @ 3.5

QPR Win @ 2.46, win to nil @ 3.65

Arsenal Win @ 1.81

Villa +0.5 AH @ 1.77

Stoke +0.75 @ 2.03

Man Utd -1.5 AH @ 1.96

  1. Close to a good week but was a bitunlucky with those late Liverpool and late Burnley goals.. but anyway, did pick the Utd 3-0 and mentioned Swans Palace BTTS (but didnt advise it!)

4 wins and 4.5 losses (half pt push) for a 0.5pt LSP loss on the week
