Premier League Table >

PL Table 8 Nov

A lot of struggling teams form-wise, Newcastle going well and West Ham and Southampton still ticking over nicely

A very small loss last week keeps us down for the season but a long way to go yet!

Liverpool v Chelsea > Chelsea may not be impressing but they should be strong enough to contain and nick a win here as Liverpool are lacking in confidence and struggling to get any results let alone flow into their play. 1-0 away win looks sensible and odds of 2.34 on BF are attractive as you would expect Jose to really want to make a point here

Burnley v Hull > Hard to call as Burnley are poor but will probably find a win eventually, and at home, and it depends on which Hull turn up; Hull have played some decent sides recently so may relish this test and with Burnley conceding plent, this could be a 1-2 or 1-3. Maybe BTTS. Hull look over-priced at 3.05 on BF

Utd v Palace > Palace are without a win in 4, Utd no win in 3 so two struggling sides and although the hosts will take some credit from last week’s defeat at City; Palace are leaking goals whilst Utd are trying to tighten up defensively but are looking weak at the back. I fancy a 1-1 draw here although Utd would expect to win by a couple I guess. Utd are a skinny 1.32 so Palace on the AH is good for me, +1.5 AH at 2.06 appeals

Southampton v Leicester > Leicester have stopped scoring so that means trouble against any team let alone the high-flying Saints. 4 wins on the spin for the hosts whilst Leicester have blanked 4 of their last 5 goals-wise – perhaps Under 2.5 as that is a juicy 2.38

West Ham v Villa > Hammers face a Villa team who could be dangerous – they were unlucky last week and if they keep that positive attitude they could make this tricky – a surprise 1-1 draw could be worth looking at. Hammers are 1.76 which will attract many who see Villa’s 6 defeats on the trot but this could be a surprise one

QPR v City > City will either step up a gear after their recent problems and prove an emphatic point – or they will remain lacking in confidence and cohesion and struggle against a home side who have looked much more perky in recent weeks; hard to call and a probable avoid

Sunderland v Everton > Sunderland battled back from their spanking at Saints as predicted and are on the back of a good win at Palace. Everton are improving nicely and will expect to win but this is an awkward game and another draw possibly

Spurs v Stoke > Spurs have lost 3 of 4 at home and it seems Adebaoyr may get another start as Poch retains his faith in him. We shall see. No love lost between these two and it can often be spiky. Spurs can win but they need ot be on the front foot and pick the right team which it seems they aren’t according to plenty of their fans. 1-1 possibly or a sneaky Spurs win but not much value in this

WBA v Newcastle > two sides doing well currently – 2-2 springs to mind but any result is possible here as both are gaining in confidence and getting results

Swansea v Arsenal > Arsenal on the back of an average effort defensively of course in midweek won’t relish this game and the Swans can surprise them here win as they exploit any confidence problems in the visitors. I am plumping for a 2-1 home win here and expect both to score

Advised Bets >

Swansea Win @ 3.65

Palace +1.5 AH @ 2.06

Sunderland v Everton Draw @ 3.55

Villa +0.75 AH @ 2.0

Hull Win @ 3.05

Chelsea Win @ 2.34

  1. decent week with 5/6 bets coming in, pus there were a few others mentioned in the summaries which came good..

nailed the Swansea score and picked up some good winner all at decent odds – profit of +7.6pts LSP for the week
