Not so long ago the European Tour barely had a tour event on the British Isles outside of the Open now theirs been a swing of them for 2013. This gets the Ryder Cup campaign under way for next year. It plays long but accurate hitting is rewarded here with easier approaches.

Gregory Bourdy 40/1 various – comes in with 9 consective cuts made. he plays this course each year wiithout fail and has always done well.
The TPC Boston hosts it this week, the 2nd leg of the Fed Ex Cup. The top 100 players turn up for this big pay day. Distance will be rewarded on both par 5s and with conditons soft a score below -20 could well win.
Phil Mickelson 14/1 various – Has good length off the tee, this course suits him. He has shown by been a past winnner here that these greens reward his good short game and putting.
Matt Kuchar 33/1 various – Going so well till he fell away in the final round last week. Shows he is in good order and he does wins big events. Likes the lower scoring events.
Jordan Speith 50/1 various – First time for this event best results have been on this sort of course including his wins. confident young man and a big win doesn’t look far away.
Gary Woodland 66/1 various – having great 2nd half to season with win in stableford and going close last week. He is a big hitter should be rewarded here and avoiding a brain melt on the run in should helps. hes health and his game is flying.
Charl Schwartzel 50/1 various – if his putter can get going theirs improvement in him. small wins since his 2011 masters event means he needs to step up again. Last two years he has been up here at the half way point.
