Matt Kenseth puts on a freaking clinic in Michigan

Matt Kenseth put on a clinic on his way to scoring the victory at Michigan.

Domination was the word of the day for the driver of the No. 20 car as he led 146 of the 200 laps on his way to victory lane. Kevin Harvick led 15 laps on his way to another runner-up finish in the Irish Hills. Martin Truex Jr. rounded out the podium with a third place finish.

Austin Dillon scored his second career top five finish with a fourth place finish. Denny Hamlin rounded out the top five.

Carl Edwards, Joey Logano, Ryan Newman, Brad Keselowski and Dale Earnhardt Jr. rounded out the top ten.

Kyle Busch came home 11th. Jeff Gordon finished 17th in his final race at Michigan International Speedway.

Jimmie Johnson finished a disappointing 39th. Bubble driver Clint Bowyer finished 41st and damaged his Chase hopes.

I’ll give my thoughts on the race tomorrow night.
