NHL Picks Sunday 15th DecemberNo luck with Saturday’s selection, we went with a tie in the Phoenix Coyotes and Carolina Hurricane’s game. The Coyotes led 1-0 after the first period and the after the second we sat at 1-1 but two goals in the third for the Hurricanes sealed a 3-1 victory for them.

NHL Picks Sunday 15th December

Los Angeles Kings at Chicago Blackhawks

Monday 16th December, 00:00 (GMT)

Bet: Game Goals – Over 5.5 at 2.10 (PaddyPower)

Been a tough selection this one, the games either look a close call or the odds are too short to put up so I am going to play the overs market (5.5) as the Kings visit the Blackhawks.

The Kings come into this game is very good form, unbeaten in their last six games which includes five wins and an overtime victory and that includes three straight wins on the road which has led them to third place in the Western Conference.

The Blackhawks still sit at the top of the Western Conference despite defeat in Toronto which brought to an end a three game winning sequence.

The home team have not been shy in front of the net this season with 132 goals in their 35 games and their last four results have ended 6-2, 6-2, 7-2 & 3-7 whilst he visitors have scored 14 goals in their last three games on the road.

In the past this match-up has not really produced too many goals, just three of the last seven have ended with 6 or more goals but with how these two are currently playing I am expecting goals and plenty of them.

The Kings have had no problem scoring on the road recently have not been goal shy at home either with 13 in their last two so for me today’s bet is for this game to end with 6+ goals.

About Author

I have been in the betting game for getting on 10 years now, I was a late comer in the betting scene, never really showed much interest in the first 20 years of my life but then I came across a betting website and that all changed. I have learnt a vast amount over the last 5 years, I used to believe I could pick the winner in every race before I realised I could not and began selective betting which is the only way forward. I mainly stick with the horses but do occasionally stray off to bet on the footie or speedway. I am now 35 years old, born and bred in Ipswich and still here and forever a Tractorboy, work part time for a Cash & Carry and have a dog named Dave! That’s about it from me.
