SBB Race Of The Day Selections

Zipster – Rossvoss
You have to take note of Dermot Weld’s Notable Graduate just because of the fact that he has produced four of the last six winners of this race and he will once again team up with Jane Mangan who rode Midnight Music to success last year, this year’s runner has gone nine without a win and is probably shorter than he should be due to the trainer. For me the one to be on here today is Rossvoss who is back on the flat following an outing out hurdles, been beaten in a couple of handicaps off 80 and drops down 1lb (79) for this run, ground will suit and the step up in trip on the flat is the key for me today and looks to be off a decent weight, tough race today but Rossvoss gets my vote.

Darylrogerson – Digeanta
Won on seasonal reappearance over 14 furlongs at Leopardstown beating Cullentry Royal and Storm Away. Those two then finished 1 and 2 in their next race ahead of one of Digeanta’s rivals today in Prima Vista. Improved when getting up last time out too ahead of Evens favourite and stablemate rated 92 Midnight Oil. Stays on strong in the closing stages of 14 furlongs suggestive that todays trip will be very suitable and for a stable that has a 36% strike rate over the last two weeks I think this one can shoulder top weight to maintain an unbeaten record.

Gecko – Cry For The Moon
Has indifferent races and form can be inconsistent, has come 2nd last 3 times when racing here though so perhaps being back on a favoured track will suit today – trip is fine and having been pipped by one in this race 12 months ago, can win this today is racing to top of form.

About Author

I have been in the betting game for getting on 10 years now, I was a late comer in the betting scene, never really showed much interest in the first 20 years of my life but then I came across a betting website and that all changed. I have learnt a vast amount over the last 5 years, I used to believe I could pick the winner in every race before I realised I could not and began selective betting which is the only way forward. I mainly stick with the horses but do occasionally stray off to bet on the footie or speedway. I am now 35 years old, born and bred in Ipswich and still here and forever a Tractorboy, work part time for a Cash & Carry and have a dog named Dave! That’s about it from me.
