Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari are back to take the fight to Mercedes

Sebastian Vettel is back on top of the Formula 1 world again after winning at Sepang.

The four-time world champion scored his 40th career victory in Formula 1 in the Malaysian Grand Prix after taking the fight to pole sitter Lewis Hamilton. He was also helped by a tactical blunder by Mercedes putting Hamilton on the harder tire compound instead of the option tires. He still finishes second. Nico Rosberg rounded out the podium.

After cutting down a tire on lap 2 and having to drive the entire length of the circuit to get back to pit road, illness Kimi Raikkonen rallied back to a fourth place finish.

While it was great for Scuderia Ferrari, it was nothing but misery for McLaren. Both Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso failed to finish the race. The last time that happened was the United States Grand Prix in 2006.
