Six Nations: Scotland v Wales; 9th March 2013

Scotland v Wales 6 Nations

Scotland after being brushed aside by England really took to the Italians to pieces, sales albeit with a lot of help from a lacklustre Italian side and some fantastic running from Stuart Hogg. He has been the real star and threat from the Scotland backline in what else looks like a mediocre side. The pack are workmanlike and have a real spirit to fight for each other in defence and will continue to cause problems in periods of matches but should not be dominating for the full 80.

Wales after not turning up for the first 40 mins of the tournament have made steady progress with a decent 2nd half fight back v Ireland and a win against the French in Paris before themselves having a bit of fortune with the bounce of a ball to pull them away from Italy. They are improving all the time after their horrific run of results since last years grand slam but still really lack that dominating 10 to run tighter games and some flair in the backs where bulk has replaced guile.

Scotland surely cannot take such a beating in the stats and find a side as benevolent as Ireland were, page while Wales do still have deficiencies but should have ore than enough to see off Scotland who have failed to beat Wales since 2007. Wales should win by 7-15.

Last 3 at Murrayfield

Scotland 6-24 Wales

Scotland 13-26 Wales

Scotland 21-9 Wales

About Author

Hi I am 42 and have been sports betting seriously for the last 4-5 years. My main areas are Rugby Union where I have played a decent level in both England and Wales and also Cricket where I did the same. I like my horses too but really limit myself to the sprints up to a mile in the summer and then the longer distances over fences in the winter with some AW action as well in the colder months.
